At your complimentary first visit to Summit Orthodontics, diagnostic records are completed to determine the best course of treatment for you. They include a dental/medical history, clinical examination, photos of your face and teeth and a panoramic x-ray. This information is used to develop your custom treatment plan. These records are also used to track your progress as your treatment proceeds.

After Dr. Wiggins has evaluated the results of your first visit, we'll discuss your treatment with you in detail. This discussion includes her recommended treatment, the length of treatment, the expected results and the cost involved.

Your treatment fees at Summit Orthodontics are based on the type of treatment and the complexity of your case. We offer convenient, monthly, no-interest payment plans. If you have an orthodontic insurance benefit, we will be happy to file your claim on your behalf. Our financial arrangements with you will be made based on the difference between your treatment fee and your estimated insurance benefit.

Once you have accepted Dr. Wiggins' treatment plan, it's time to get started! It will take us between 1 to 2 hours for the "Get Started" appointment — we have a lot to do and you have lots to learn. After that, we'll see you at regular intervals of 6 to 10 weeks for your adjustments. These adjustment appointments generally take 20 to 40 minutes.
